We will not de-matt any dog under any circumstances and work strictly by the rules of humanity over vanity. Where necessary, a matted shave off will take place and an additional charge will be added to the groom price. Matted shave offs take extra time and wear and tear on our tools. An additional fee of up to £20 will be added to the groom price depending on the additional time required to complete the shave off.

If you are aware your dog has fleas, please let me know prior so we can reschedule your groom. If fleas are discovered whilst in my care, an additional fee of £15 will be added to the groom price. This is to cover the cost of additional cleaning, flea bombs and flea treatment shampoo.

We require at least 48 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. If less than 48 hours is provided, there will be a charge of £20 per dog or 50% of the appointment price, whichever is greater. This must be paid before any further bookings can be made. If you already have future bookings, these will be cancelled unless payment is made within 24 hours. All future bookings will also be subject to a deposit of £20 per dog to confirm your appointment.

No shows will be charged at full price, which must be paid prior to any future bookings.

We are unable to take your dogs in prior to their groom times. Please allow room for dogs to be dropped off and collected without coming into contact with your dog. If you are more than 15 minutes late for drop off, this will be classed as a no show and will fall into our cancellation and no show policy.

We will either provide you with an ETA for collection at the time of drop off or we will message when we are approx. 30 minutes from completing your groom. We kindly ask that your dog is picked up promptly at the stated time. There is a late pick up fee of £5 per 15 minutes.

For the safety of your pet and myself, I kindly ask that you inform me if your dog displays any signs of aggression or a groom has been refused or abandoned at a previous groomers.

I reserve the right to abandon any groom I see fit due to health, safety or behaviour. Full groom prices will still be applicable.

We reserve the right to photograph your pet for our records and use on social media platforms. Should you wish not to have your dog photographed, please discuss this with us at the point of booking.

This depends on your dogs breed, coat type and lifestyle. As a general guide:

• Long/curly coated breeds - 4-8weeks
• Short coated breeds - 6-10weeks

This varies from dog to dog. We like to go at the dogs paces so we wouldn't like to put a set time and feel rushed. However, most appointments can be completed within 1.5 to 2 hours.

We strongly advise booking in advance. We rarely have same day or same week appointments available.

For safety and to keep dogs calm, we do not allow owners to stay while we work on their dogs. We will let you know once your dog is ready to collect.
